5 Steps to Planning an Unforgettable Christmas Party

It’s that time of year again! Christmas is just around the corner, which for many corporations comes with the promise of an unforgettable office party. For employers, it’s an opportunity to show their appreciation to their staff for a year of hard work. For employees, it’s an opportunity to over-indulge, mingle with staff outside of their direct team and celebrate their work achievements.

For a successful end of year bash that reflects your business and rewards your employees, follow these 5 simple steps to planning an unforgettable office party.

1. Decide on the Style of Event

The number of guests and the budget will usually determine the style of your event. You will be happy to hear, our 2016 Christmas packages can cater for groups from 10 to 1000. For smaller teams, booking a table or two at an organised Christmas event like our Ultimate Christmas Party, or a private function in a smaller space like our Signorelli Gastronomia Restaurant or Biaggio Cafe are great ideas. You still get all the luxuries of a large style office party for a fraction of the cost. For bigger groups, a cocktail party, luncheon or dinner party function at one of our gorgeous Sydney venues is sure to impress your team and keep them talking about it for months to come.

2. Select a Venue

There is no denying that Sydney comes alive in Christmas Season so selecting a venue that is close to after-party and public transport options is a great way to ensure your party-goers let their hair down and really enjoy themselves. For Central Sydney based offices, our Pyrmont, Hyde Park and Biaggio packages are ideal choices. For South Sydney and Sutherland based businesses our Sylvania Waters package is another great option. For budgets that don’t allow for an entire venue book-out, privately catered Christmas celebrations at your office or home can be another cost effective solution.

3. Deck the Halls

Depending on your company, selecting decorations for your Christmas event based on a colour theme rather than the more religious aspects of the season is a good idea. Better yet, leaving the decorating and styling to a talented team of event stylists will ensure your corporate party is superbly decorated, which will help your guests get into the spirit of the occasion. 4. Secure Catering

Food (and alcohol) are a key part to any Christmas party, which is good news because it’s what we are renowned for. All of our Christmas function packages deliver special menus created for the festive season, and if you’re feeling extra generous, spoil your guests by adding one of our Christmas event upgrades. How does a welcome cocktail and nutella station sound?

5. Provide Entertainment

Entertainment is a key element to any good party. You want to see your guests relaxed, dancing and having a great time. Start with music to create atmosphere and if your budget allows it add some alternate party entertainment like a magician, photo-booth or dancers. For something totally unique, our interactive cocktail event at Signorelli Gastronomia is another great option to ensure your guests are well entertained whilst they meet and mingle.

With a choice of day and night, sit-down or cocktail style events, you’ll be spoilt for choice with our Christmas venues and event packages. For more information on each of our Christmas packages please view our brochure. For enquiries: 02 85710622 | [email protected]
