The festive season will be all about sun, surf and fancy functions for Princess Mary, who will be bringing her brood back home to Australia in late November. But while Women's Day was the first to report that the mum-of-four will be coming home at the end of the year, we can now reveal she and Prince Frederik are also set to become fixtures on the Aussie parties scene, attending posh parties to promote one of the world's hottest new food trends, Scandinavian cuisine.

The couple will reportedly be guests of honour at two "Bright Green Denmark" gala dinners, held to publicise their country's culinary exports, at Sydney's Doltone House and Melbourne Peninsula.
