Photo Recap: Doltone House Business Open House 2017

Inviting professional event and meeting planners on an interactive tour of our Pyrmont and CBD venues, we were delighted with a stunning winters day for our recent Doltone Business Open House. Just in case you missed it, we’ve put together a photo recap to take you back in time and revisit the highlights. The open house tied in with the launch of our 2017 Christmas party packages, with key dates being snapped up across each of the properties.

Starting at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf on Sydney Harbour, guests enjoyed hot chocolate shots, soup, pretzels and a health food station inside our popular Heritage Wharf venue. In the South end of the venue was an oval table conference set up, and in the North a statement dinner set up with banquet tables styled by House of Doltone.

The next stop on the tour was just next door at Loft, where House of Doltone styled a cocktail party inspired by Britain. With the Harbour Bridge as the backdrop, there was a dedicated Pimm’s bar on the outdoor deck, where guests got to sip on cocktails and take in the spectacular waterfront setting.

Then it was onto SoHo! Set up for a conference, guests were able to preview how flexible this designer event space can be, with a unique split level loft design. New outdoor furniture on the outdoor decking areas made this venue a popular choice for planners looking for the perfect Christmas party venue!

Just a short walk from Jones Bay Wharf, guests then made their way down to Doltone House Darling Island. Starting in Parkview, guests were delighted with the recent renovations and venue styling, with a fresh New York inspired aesthetic. For something different, House of Doltone styled a classroom set up with modern high tables and chairs.

Passing through Signorelli Gastronomia, a unique private event space with interactive theatre kitchen facilities, guests were led into the main event space at Doltone House Darling Island, stopping for a brief presentation on our newest venue, Doltone House Australian Technology Park. An impressive AV set up from Microhire brought the presentation to life, complete with a unique classroom set up with snack boxes and bean bags, styled by House of Doltone.

For something to eat, there was a pizza station hosted by our chefs, enjoyed by our guests while they previewed some ideas for corporate team-building events – including the ‘Big Picture’ organised by Be Challenged and a Masterchef cooking challenge.

Then it was onto Doltone House Hyde Park for the grand finale. In the Ballroom there was a Hollywood inspired gala dinner set up, complete with a decadent live dessert station. A crowd favourite from the tour!

The tour concluded in the Manhattan room at our Hyde Park venue, showcasing an experiential whiskey and cheese and wine pairing masterclass. A reminder that corporate events can be fun and interactive.
