A GLAMOROUS WEDDING FOR DANIEL AND CHRISTIANNE

The wedding of Daniel and Christianne was nothing short of spectacular! On the 6th May, the couple celebrated their wedding at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf, located at Pyrmont, with a beautiful reception featuring elegant floral displays, grand chandeliers and opulent styling throughout.

THE PROPOSAL

Daniel and Christianne met when they were only teenagers while playing Oz tag and quickly became friends. Four years later, Daniel asked Christianne out on their first date, and they hit it off. On November 3rd, 2016 Daniel proposed at a restaurant on their own private balcony overlooking the water, complete with candles, flowers, music and lunch. Christianne said “It was perfect!”

THE CEREMONY

Daniel and Christianne married at St Nicholas in Punchbowl, and the moment that will last forever for both Christianne and Daniel from their wedding day would be seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day as Christianne walked down the aisle to Daniel who waited patiently at the alter as he laid eyes on his bride.

THE WEDDING

With both couples coming from a Lebanese background, the reception for Christianne and Daniel was everything and it had to reflect how they were as a couple and had to deliver on size, comfort, service and quality food. After researching venues around Sydney, Daniel and Christianne ultimately chose Doltone House. Having attended weddings prior to theirs, the “spectacular service” and “tasteful food” as well as the “enjoyable” and “easy process” to planning their wedding, nothing could compare to Doltone House. Daniel and Christianne decided to celebrate their wedding at our Jones Bay Wharf Pyrmont venue, overlooking the iconic Sydney Harbour bridge.

THE STYLING

The look and feel of the wedding reception was important to both Christianne and Daniel and they had a vision of what they wanted. Going for a classy, grand and tasteful look, complete with a white, nude and champagne colour scheme, Christianne enlisted the help of Bling Events to bring her dream wedding to life. Surely enough, the Doltone House venue transformed into in an opulent wedding reception with gold, grandeur centrepieces and chandeliers which complemented the antique and feminine inspired floral bouquets across the venue beautifully.

THEIR ADVICE

“Love is a commitment, not a feeling”. Christianne and Daniel are looking forward to spending their time together, travelling and creating memories as husband and wife, even starting a family. If they could share one piece of advice with future brides it would be to “never loose sight of the best thing about your wedding” and during the moments when it may seem like you are struggling, always “choose love”.
