Doltone Business Event Stories

As part of the Doltone House 50th Anniversary celebrations, we asked our extended family to share their memories of special events they’ve held at Doltone House throughout the decades. We received some wonderful memories and stories from our community.

Click on the below images to read the stories of those who have held a business event or party at a Doltone House venue. We hope you enjoy reading these stories as much as we have, as we celebrate 50 golden years of Doltone House.

Under the sea wonderland

“From the fire twirler to the live food (preparation) station, the excitement in the air was palpable. When the doors to the event finally opened, they revealed an underwater world complete with table centre lights that resembled jellyfish at all different heights – it was spectacular! That soft pink glowing light up the inside walls of the room added beautifully to the overall feeling of sunlight entering the ocean surface; no other venue could have completed that look so perfectly.”

Young Achievers taken to new heights

What Katrina found at Doltone House Darling Island was a venue that exceeded her expectations. “As mentioned many times throughout the evening, Darling Island is probably the best venue I have dealt with in my five years doing these awards.

“The whole night was great; a beautiful venue, great food, wonderful atmosphere and very professional wait staff.”

LA FAMILIA VALUES

Having worked closely with Doltone House for several years Lefand Group returned to host their third Annual Building and Property Summit for over 500 guests at Jones Bay Wharf.

They were extremely impressed with the professionalism, delivery, quality and approach, saying; “The Doltone House staff both prior to the event and on the day were fantastic! Our ideas and requests were never an issue and any challenges were met with professionalism and a smile. Our event was a huge success and we have locked in the same three venues for our next Building and Property Summit in May 2020.”
