Anna Cesarano – CEO Doltone House

The Event: Destination Degustation Get Local, Get Together Welcome Cocktail Event

“Get Local and Doltone House get the industry back together”

Australasian Special Events

Guests walked from ICC Sydney, arrived on our outdoor Promenade, and were greeted with an ACT Capital Bellini cocktail pegged with mini popcorn cones before stepping inside our Sydney Harbour venue lit up by Microhire

The space featured stylish cocktail lounges and furniture from Valiant Events, an eight-metre sushi train, food and beverage carts. At the same time, guests enjoyed catching up with industry colleagues and indulging in an evening of delicious food and wine curated especially for the event.

The Menu: A Taste Of Australia

Hosted buyers and exhibitors were treated to an unforgettable night as they boarded our Darling Island venue. DJ Jess set the tone for the night, crafting an excellent DJ set and getting the vibe started in the right direction from Get-Go!

Each destination featured iconic produce local to its Australian state paired with beverages hand-picked by our in-house sommelier.

Guests toured the Tasmanian dairy farm with a mouth-watering “Grab n Go” cheese and charcuterie cup before landing in New South Wales to sample a delicious plant-based “100 mile Veggie Patch” dip from the harvest table and a refreshing Moore’s Lemon Myrtle Gin cocktail.

The next stop was an Aussie favourite Beer Battered Fish and Chips, and Macadamia Crusted Cauliflower Bites from Western Australia. Before hopping onto the Ghan to the Northern Territory with our sumptuous 8-metre sushi train and savouring our delicious Darwin Crispy Fried Tofu Laksa.

We also escaped to the Chalk Hill, South Australia and King Valley, Victoriavineyards and sipped aromatic red and white wines.

The final destination was sunny Queensland! Our signature Drunken Lamington liquid dessert was a crowd favourite and our Sunshine Pineapple Skewers with a rum and coconut glaze was too good to resist. It certainly was the trip around Australia!
