Doltone deliver on family celebrations

Large family weddings have always been a Doltone House speciality, and it was for this reason that Rebecca Newson chose to hold her wedding at Sylvania Waters in 2010. With a guest list reaching 200 people, it was vital that Rebecca chose a venue that had experience catering to a large number of guests without sacrificing on quality.

“We choose Doltone House due to the location, the beautiful setting and because it allowed us to have an Italian style reception, which was important to my family.”

Having first met her husband in high school, before losing touch and then reconnecting at age 30, Rebecca wanted to create a special day that not only reflected her family values but also celebrated their love story. This came down to the atmosphere and styling of their event space.

“All of the (venue) styling matched the coloured sash on my dress. We only had flowers on bridal table, the rest (of the tables) had crystal candle balls, it was beautiful.”

The Doltone House team went above and beyond to accommodate some of Rebecca’s requests to make sure that everyone had an exceptional time. “They made a few extra bits and pieces happen. Paul Signorelli and the staff were amazing.”

Like all couples, they wanted to create great memories for themselves and their guests and Doltone House delivered on all counts by providing a great location, delicious food and exceptional entertainment. “We have very special memories of our wedding at Doltone House.”
