The Seven News Young Achiever Awards acknowledges, encourages and promotes the positive achievements of all young people, so for event organiser Katrina Gallo it was important to find a venue that reflected the ideals of the event. After organising the awards for five years, Katrina selected Doltone House Darling Island as the venue for the 2019 event.
What Katrina found at Doltone House Darling Island was a venue that exceeded her expectations. “As mentioned many times throughout the evening, Darling Island is probably the best venue I have dealt with in my five years doing these awards.
“The whole night was great; a beautiful venue, great food, wonderful atmosphere and very professional wait staff.”
A significant night for all involved, the event design for the Gala Dinner reflected the company in the room. From the stage and screens, to the tables, set with beautiful candlesticks, each element reflected the high calibre of award nominees and guests in attendance.
“I found the venue and event to be amazing with a very high calibre of young achievers with amazing talents and commitment to excellence in many different areas.”
Following the event, Katrina asked attendees to complete a short survey about their experience, specifically around the quality and quantity of the food. The results were fantastic and showed 100 per cent of the respondents enjoyed the menu.
After the success of the 2019 awards, the Seven News Young Achiever Awards will again be held at Doltone House Darling Island in 2020.
