Andrew and Rachel had been dating for 4 years when he decided to pop the question in one of the most romantic proposal settings we have ever heard of.

Under the pretence of a regular dinner date, Andrew drove Rachel across the city to Rose Bay. As she got out of the car, Rachel could hear her favourite song being played at a distance, but it couldn’t have prepared her for what Andrew had planned. He led her towards a nearby park, where he had secretly organised a red carpet and firework display. Andrew dropped to one knee at the same time as the firework display ignited, spelling out “Will you marry me, Rachel?”

It’s no surprise that the wedding of Rachel and Andrew was nothing short of perfect. Engaging our in-house wedding styling service House of Doltone to bring their vision to life, Rachel and Andrew chose a classic palette of white and cream. The details were fresh, modern and romantic with a fairy tale quality. The custom floral wall and personalised white dance floor were especially eye-catching, lit by crystal chandeliers that hung from the exposed beam ceiling of our Jones Bay Wharf venue.

These two looked carefree on their wedding day, promising from the very beginning to always love and be patient with one another. Their words of wisdom for new couples planning their wedding day were “be patient with one another and enjoy every bit because it all goes so fast and you want the memories to last forever”.
